From Vermont to Colorado to New Mexico, a photo essay on skiing from another era.

The combination of memories from church ski trips in junior high and high school and cross-country ski trips in Norway where frequent pauses were allowed to take a swig from the Thermos of hot alcoholic drink and THEN seeing these pictures leaves me itching to strap on some skis this season. Give me mountains! I wonder what it’s like to ski hungover…
